The release of Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X comes without a valued feature from the current consoles.
Turning them off gives a significant boost, but it's still nowhere near the performance of the original game. And the motion blur filter is hideous and probably hurts the performance as well. You can turn off blur in the ini settings, and be sure to use the find option in notepad or whatever, as they can have multiple entries of it.
In Devil May Cry 5, Vergil once again employs the Judgement Cut (now spelled “Judgment Cut”) both as a boss and a player character (in Special Edition or DLC). The visual effect of the attack is different from DMC4 —curved, rather than straight slashes, and the sound effect differs between the boss and player Vergil.

Yeah, the original port from what I remember had some optimisation issues on PC (as per usual with early and late 2000’s Capcom PC ports). But since SE was released not too long ago they managed to iron out some kinks in the original version and added some more modern graphic options as well as some better ways to personalise the experience.

Vergil is an alternative playable character in Devil May Cry 3, Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition, and Devil May Cry 5. He gets a unique combat mechanic to distinguish himself from other playable characters in his latter two appearances. The Deluxe Edition of the base game will not have LDK, Turbo mode, nor Raytracing.
